Known World Heraldic and Scribal SymposiumThe Known World Heraldic and Scribal Symposium (KWHSS) is an annual interkingdom SCA event for the purpose of promoting heraldic and scribal education and research in the SCA. Next year’s KWHSS will be held on June 29-30, 2024, in the Kingdom of the East. Hosted by the Bailiwick of Ivyeinrust, the event will be held at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadephia, PA. More information coming as we get closer! Recent years have also seen us holding a Virtual Known World symposium in January. The next vKWHSS will be the weekend of January 26-28, 2024. We’ll have more information as we get closer! There is a questions and answers webpage which provides additional information about KWHSS. For those who wish to bid on and hold a KWHSS, there is another web page which gives tips and information on doing so, and yet another web page which gives historical information on gate fees, attendance, etc. Each year, a Proceedings is published, containing articles on diverse subjects related to SCA Heraldic and Scribal Arts.
